Smoking
Today, Cole was pretending to smoke a cigarette (actually a straw from Starbucks). We have seen lots of smokers here in NYC so he has many role models. Our conversation:
Me: Smoking is really yucky.
Cole: Why? (Stock response to just about anything)
Me: It’s smells bad and it can kill you.
Cole: You can die from smoking?
Me: Yes.
Cole: So why would people smoke?
Me: Good question. I don’t know.
Cole: So old people who are going to die soon - those are the only ones who should smoke, right?
How can I argue with logic like that?
