Mommy beeping horn. Guy not safe!

Ally has been repeating this every day for the last week. Someone ran a stop sign in front of me and I beeped my horn. What an impression it made on her.

OK, we haven’t updated this in many long months. We’re not going to try and remember everything that happened since last August. Cole is now 3.5 and Ally will be two in a couple of weeks. They’re wonderful and independent and feisty. And still completely opposite about food (Ally loves to try new things, Cole doesn’t) and sleep (Cole fights it, she asks to go to bed). Makes you realize that, to some extent, they just are who they are.

Cole loves Circle of Friends…recently he’s written a book (California Animals by Cole) and they built a community, complete with roads, houses, cars and a post office and airport. Ally is very happy at Anna’s house, playing with Ryan and doting on Baby Henry.

My latest favorite Cole story. Uncle Jimmy was playing with Cole and wanted to play some more. Cole sat down in his chair with a very serious look and said “Let’s have a talkings.” We still don’t know what he wanted to talk about but the look on his face was priceless.

We had a great trip to San Diego in February where we went to Legoland and the kids (Cole, Ally, Cora, Lane and Luke) got to play on the beach. They had a fab time playing together.

For Christmas, my entire family, including Jane, Steve, Amy and Ryan were here. The kids loved it though we didn’t finish opening presents until the end of January.

I’m going to really try and start writing in here again!
