Ally’s vocabulary

We like to think that we pay just as much attention to our second born so I thought we’d better write down her vocabulary to date. We kept track of Cole’s, therefore…

At 16 months, she says words that don’t necessarily sound quite right but they mean: birdie, dog, woof-woof, quack-quack, moo, apple, banana, rice, cracker, water, bottle, outside, diaper, no-no, shoe, hat, nose, belly, hair, teeth, toes, book, ball, baby, mama, dada, Cole (sadly, this sounds like Doh), brother, Anna, up, down, jump, throw, hi, bye-bye, night-night, gentle, stuck, hot (which she says for things that are hot or cold). I’m sure there are a few more.

And yesterday, we rearranged the house to put the dining room table back on the kid side of the house. Today, Ally climbed onto it. Joy!
