Music/bed/tooth/two!
On Monday, we were in the car and Cole told me he wanted to hear an instrumental (he knows this word from music class). I turned it to the classical station. After a couple of minutes, he said “Mommy, this music is so BIG.”
A few weeks ago, after he started climbing out of the crib, we made the trek to Ikea and got the big boy bed. Cole loves it…especially climbing up the ladder to get in. He’s been doing pretty well at staying in bed at night. See the photos of the trip and the installation.
Ally got another tooth - but she’s going to look like a hockey player. She had the top right one and now she has the one next to it, to the right. Let’s hope the others catch up soon.
She’s also pulling up on things now and finally figured out how to roll over from her back (she was like a turtle - put her on her back and she was stuck). What kid crawls for months before rolling over?
Cole has been acting two off and on the last few weeks. We want them to be independent in the long run, right? He is showing it. Mostly he’s very sweet and affectionate but sometimes it’s hard to find the patience. He’s gotten good at saying “Mommy help please!” when Ally gets into his stuff instead of pushing her over. One step at a time.
